What remains when colour disappears?
When we take away saturation, brightness, and distraction, something raw begins to speak.
This book is a record of voices. Visual, conceptual, quiet — yet persistent.
It is not just a collection of monochrome works; it is a year-long dialogue held in greyscale.
A whisper across generations.
A fragment of stillness in a time that moves too fast.
Evi Mono Awards was born not as a competition, but as a space —
for stories that cannot be told in loud pixels,
for images that do not shout,
for creators who work in the space between absence and presence.
This first year was an experiment. And the experiment worked.
From dozens of countries, with different languages and tools, came visions — sometimes stark, sometimes tender, always honest.
We dedicate this book to every participant —
to those who create not to impress, but to reveal.
Here, monochrome does not mean less.
It means depth. Direction. Decision.
And — above all — it means care.
Welcome to a year of visual stories without noise.
