Monochrome. Conceptual. Global.
Dublin, August 1, 2025 – The inaugural edition of Evi Mono Awards has officially launched. This new international art competition celebrates the depth and beauty of monochrome expression across photography, AI-generated visuals, conceptual graphics, and experimental visual art.
Evi Mono Awards is more than a competition – it’s a creative platform that embraces the power of visual limitation. With a focus on black-and-white and single-tone works, the awards invite artists from around the world to explore the emotional and conceptual strength of minimal palettes in the age of oversaturated imagery.
“We believe in the strength of restraint. Monochrome is not nostalgia – it’s an aesthetic decision that speaks more quietly, yet often more profoundly,” says Arti, the founder of the awards and a photographer working between Ireland and Poland, known for blending fine art with visual storytelling.
Evi Mono Awards are held quarterly, with submissions judged by an international panel of artists, curators, and theorists. Each edition includes monetary prizes, publication opportunities, and an official print and digital catalogue, plus exhibitions. A portion of the contest’s revenue supports charitable causes focused on creative education and emerging visual artists.
Award Categories:
• Monochrome Photography
• Conceptual / AI Graphic Work
• Open Monochrome Visual Projects / Digital Art
Submissions for the first edition are open until 26/10/2025.
